Writing as a Meditation ~ Day 18

butterfly kisses

As I wake up this morning I had to ice my face. My eyes were burning. My pupils were stinging. I wanted nothing more than to shut them. But I have way too much to do to just be still. So after my writers call I packed my bags and left the house to really just maximize my writing time today because today my plate is full.

Every day I discover new ways of seeing where I am headed. Every day I am learning how to clear my path. Every day I am getting better of adjusting my time, my schedule and really deciding which responsibilities I really do have to keep the outside world. This next hour and ½ will be intentional. I have massive amounts of work to get done and I will get it all done. I must remember to eat. This is the first order of business. To fuel my body with something amazing and then I can proceed.

I am grateful today for my visioning sister… we are responsible for one another. I am grateful that every day we connect and check in looking out for each other. Even in those moments when we want to be hard on ourselves when we don’t accomplish something we still send each other strength, inspiration and love. She reminds me that every single time I get something done and reach a goal I am getting it done for her and for me… and just knowing I have someone wishing me success really me helps.

present-2

My intention for today is to be present. I intend to be completely present and honor my time. Today I will stick to my schedule and honor what I need and I will not feel bad that I can’t be what people want me to be. Today I put my time first. No phone. No texts. No Facebook. No procrastination. Today it’s about me, my words and keeping my word! And so it is!

Today’s Prompts:

As I wake up this morning… (Set timer for 5 minutes)
Everyday I discover… (Set timer for 5 minutes)
I am grateful today for… (Set timer for 5 minutes)
My intention for today… (Set timer for 5 minutes)

Breathe~

10 minute: Brainstorm/Freewrite: This scene takes place outside. We are observing something. What are we surrounded by? What is this place? Are we in another country? Another world? What are they people like? What is special about this place?

Breathe… stretch…

30 minute writing session –

Prompt: This place brings me… (or)
Prompt: The last time I saw her…

Pick whichever you are most connected to. BEGIN
