Why is that we rather believe the worst things about ourselves?
During a writing session with my mentee we wrote on two prompts:
What they see…
What I see…
And what came up for us was so profound.
Why is it that we torture ourselves with unhealthy thought patterns?
What if… We focused more on our beauty?
What if… We filled our spirits with self-love?
What if… We tapped into our strengths and allowed that to be what guided our thoughts?
