Nepal Trip ~ Day 54: Everyday I Wake

When you wake up everyday grateful and happy to be alive your life transforms. 
  
When you give to others there is something beautiful that happens. Amazing things come to you. When your heart is open your blessings come back to you full force. For all the pain I have seen I can honestly say I have seen and known more love. I have experienced more peace. I have been happy more than I have been sad. I have been surrounded by more incredible people than those who have caused me pain. My soul has been touched by kindness and generosity. I have known loves that have been unmatched and I have witnessed miracles.

REFLECTION

  
Today was the most beautiful day. The sun was brighter than I have ever seen it. I noticed everything and everyone. A baby kissing its father. A child carrying bricks to dispose of them. I noticed so many smiles today. When you can smile amidst all of this devastation this is what it means to have the joy. Joy can’t be faked. When you walk around with joy its like a magnet. You attract more of it. Isn’t this what we all want? More joy. More love. More amazing people in our lives. More of the good. I hope so. I really do hope we know how amazing it is to be awake. I hope we all want to be happy. I hope we can all find something at least one thing to be grateful for.
